Hi, this is Annie (Quynh Anh Nguyen)! I'm a Vietnamese illustrator and storyteller whose work explores the quiet, tender spaces between isolation and healing. Born in Ho Chi Minh City and shaped by the weight of generational trauma, I use visual storytelling to process inherited grief, depression, and the complex journey of reclaiming one’s emotional truth.
Annie1Studio - my design and illustration brand is all about capturing the rich tapestry of human emotions and energy.
Fun fact 🙂 about me: My art style has a wide range of skills, colors, and composition... basically chaos on canvas, very typical of an artist that's a little unhinged. As an INFP, the safest way to approach me in real life, without spooking me, is by offering me a milk tea boba.
Let's team up and create something truly extraordinary together!

I’m excited to share with the world my debut picture book, ‘WHAT IF I LEAVE?’, which was created in the aftermath of personal burnout and emotional unraveling, a moment when art became my way back to connection. With vibrant and whimsical illustrations and a voice that speaks to anyone who has felt unseen, the book serves as a glimpse of hope to those navigating inner conflict, mental health struggles, and the silent question of whether they truly belong. 🙂
